Winnie K. (Simmons) Rutherford

Winnie K. Rutherford, 85, formerly of Eastlake, Ohio passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 24, 2022.

Winnie was born March 20, 1937 in Webster Springs, WVA to the late Orville and Ella (Brown) Simmons.

She enjoyed traveling, shopping, working in her flower gardens, sewing and cooking. Winnie was noted for her love of hosting family gatherings and especially elaborated on the Christmas holiday decorating and cooking. 

Winnie was a kind, caring, generous soul who dearly loved her family.

She will be greatly missed by her husband, Walter Bruce Rutherford, married 62 years, children, Terry (Tina) Rutherford, Jerry (Bobbi) Rutherford and Brenda Rutherford (Denny).

Numerous grand and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Also survived by two brothers, Harlen June Simmons and Robert David Simmons and a sister Gatha Triplett.

Preceded in death by brothers and one sister, Oscar, Tommy and Gay.

Private Family Burial was held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, Ohio.
