William J. Eyring, 81, passed away on his farm July 29, 2020.
He was the loving husband of Diane Eyring (nee Hamila) for 60 years, father of Shirley Graziano, Carolyn Stanek, Bill (Joyce) Eyring, Gayle (Todd) Supeck. Grandfather of Carrie (Kelly) Stanek, Rob (Katie) Stanek, Luke Stanek, Katrina Supeck, Tim Supeck, Morgan Eyring, Brooke Eyring. Great grandfather of Matthew and Jackson.
Bill is also survived by his brothers Richard Eyring, Robert (Anne) Eyring, Donald Eyring and Thomas Eyring.
Bill was self-employed and known to be able to fix, solve or build whatever was needed. He was a 4-H advisor, a volunteer EMT and firefighter on the Litchfield Fire Department for 35 years and a proud NRA member. He was a member of a K9 search and rescue team where he loved to work with his beloved Border Collies that were always by his side. Bill had a real passion for farming, woodworking, (he always had a woodworking project under construction for someone in the family), target shooting and spending time with his family.
A viewing for Bill will take place Sunday, August 2, 2020 from 2-4 PM at the Bauer Funeral Home, 208 Columbia Road, Valley City. We will encourage social distancing and guests are asked to wear face coverings. Please pay your respects to the family by kindly passing through and exiting.
Friends and family are invited to a Graveside Service to be held 11:00 AM, Monday, August 3, 2020 at the Litchfield Cemetery on Norwalk Road (East of the Circle).
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the family to help defray final expenses.
