William Ray Davis

William Ray Davis, 75, of Litchfield, Ohio passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 surrounded by his family.

Bill was born September 17, 1949 in Belfry, Kentucky to the late Walter and Edith (Smith) Davis. He grew up in Kentucky and moved to Cleveland in 1967 in search of his occupation which he was a carpenter all his life.  He retired from the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

Bill was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War serving three years. He enjoyed being with his family and going fishing.

He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Linda (Jones) married 53 years and his cherished daughter, Amanda (Josh) Allis and his adored grandsons, Landon and Grayson Allis.

Bill was one of thirteen children in his family and uncle to many.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Gathering Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 12:00 noon till 1:30 pm at the Bauer Funeral Home, Valley City, OH. In honor of Bill’s personality, please wear casual clothes.

Following the gathering,  Interment  at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, OH. (Meet at the entrance at 2:30 pm)
