Wanda Lou Riffel (nee Potter), 78, of Litchfield passed away November 18, 2021 peacefully in the comfort of her own home. She was born July 6, 1943 in Pike County, Kentucky and had lived in Medina County for over 60 years.
Wanda attended the Pleasant View Old Regular Baptist Church in Litchfield and enjoyed spending time with all members of the church. Wanda enjoyed quilting, horses, shopping, and spending time with her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, mamaw, and friend to many.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia; grandsons, Jacob and Samuel (Stormey); granddaughters, Danielle and Michelle; great-grandchildren, Aryana, Leland, Kade, Leigha, Jax and Lucas; sister, Shirley (Paul); and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bart and Ample; husband of almost 50 years, Doy; brother, Harlon; and nephew, Eric.
Please join us in celebrating her life Monday, November 29, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Pleasant View Old Regular Baptist Church, 3589 Beat Road Litchfield. Funeral Services will be held in the church on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 10:00 AM with Elder Dennis Elkins officiating. Burial will be in Litchfield Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road Valley City.
