Walter Bruce Rutherford

Walter Bruce Rutherford, age 92,  formerly of Eastlake, Ohio.  Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, in Medina, Ohio.

He was born April  29, 1932 in Pocahontas, Virginia to the late Carl Sr. and Sally (Jeffery) Rutherford.  He grew up in Virginia and was a Korean War veteran.

Bruce enjoyed working in his garage, watching westerns, dogs and spending time with family members.

Bruce was preceded by his loving wife Winnie  (Simmons) and several siblings.

He will be greatly missed by his children, Terry (Tina), Jerry (Bobbi)  and Brenda (Denny Brugh); sister Mary Nucci of Vermont and many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  Services will be held Friday, December 6, 2024 at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, Ohio with full military honors.  The Bauer Funeral Home, Valley City, Ohio has the honor of serving the Rutherford family.
