Steven R. Bevis

Steven R. Bevis, age 62, of Medina, Ohio passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020.

Steven was born on October 8, 1958 in Linsborg, Kansas. He moved frequently, growing up in a military family.  However, he spent most of his childhood in Alaska.  In Ohio, Steven lived in Cuyahoga County prior to moving to Medina County 5 years ago.  He worked primarily in IT Project Management, and was presently employed as an IT Manager at MTD in Valley City.

Steven was passionate about Jesus and Harley Davidson motorcycles and was an active member of Stinger’s Median Chapter of Harley Owners Group (HOG).

Steven was known for his great sense of humor; his kind and generous spirit. He touched the lives of many family & friends, and he will be greatly missed.

He was pre-deceased by his father, Robert F. Bevis, and his son, Michael Bevis.  He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Susan; his son Justin; his mother LaRue Bevis; siblings, William Miller (Barbara), Sharon Green (John, deceased), R. Daniel Bevis (Sharon), & Kathy Rodgers (Greg); many nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews. His in-laws, Joe & Marie Biacsi; brother-in-law’s, Joe Biacsi, Jr., David Biacsi, Steve & Dawn Biacsi; nephews, Nicholas, Ethan & Daniel Biacsi.

There will be NO visitation or funeral service at this time.  A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring (TBA).

Memorial contributions can be made to the Make A Wish Foundation.
