Stanley W. Polanski, Sr., 77, of Chatham, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 2, 2022.
Stanley was born February 24, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Walter and Stella (Lisowska) Polanski. He has resided in Chatham for 45 years, where he had served on the Chatham Fire Department for 14 years, and was Assistant Fire Chief for few years.
Stanley was an active member of the Medina County Coon Hunter Association. He retired as a burner with American Tank, Cleveland after many years of service.
He enjoyed animals, nature, fishing, hunting and participating in the area turkey shoots.
Stanley took great pride in his children and grandchildren
He will be greatly missed by many and is survived by his wife Linda (Pepera), married 53 years; his children, Stanley Jr. (Scott) (wife Este) Polanski, Stacy (Gary) Stephanchick and Shawn Polanski (Renee Yatson); grandchildren Stanley (Walt) Polanski, III,( Darcy McDougle), Sarah Polanski, Hunter, Hayden, Heather, Daniel and David Stephanchick.
Siblings, Patricia Herendeen, Daniel Polanski and Joseph Pesto. Many nieces, nephews and his beloved four-legged companions.
Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 1:00-5:00 PM on Saturday, June 11. 2022 at the Chatham VFW, 6299 Avon Lake Road, Spencer, OH 44275, with a short service will be held at 3:00PM by the Fireman’s Association.
In lieu of flowers- the family suggests memorials may be made to the Chatham Fire Department or to the Medina County Coon Hunters Association.
