Rose Anna (Silves) Fowler, 91, went to be with the Lord Thursday, February 15, 2024.
Rose was born in West Salem, Ohio on June 27, 1932 to Oscar F. and Florence E. (Stevens) Silves. Rose’s graduating class was the last to graduate from old Chatham High School. Rose loved to work with children and was able to teach Physical education to the grade schools of Lafayette and Chatham Elementary Schools. She was also active in working with the Girl Scouts. She returned to Westfield Companies to continue her work in the programming department, where she retired after 55 years.
She was an active member of the Waltz Church and their Ladies Aid, also a member of the Medina Marine Corp Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Glenna D. Baker and brother Bob F. Silves.
She leaves behind her husband of 66 years, Roger A. Fowler; two daughters, Michele Yasco and Constance Glenn; one niece Chrystal Baker and two nephews, James R. Baker, Jr. and Edward D. Silves.
Private services to held at a later date.
