Robert G. Vibonese

Robert G. Vibonese, age 56, of Litchfield, Ohio passed away on July 15, 2025, peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Jonnie (Meininger), his parents, Robert and Rita (Mazzola) Vibonese, his three siblings Vicki (Steve) Bycznski, Frank Vibonese and Michelle Zupancic.  His nieces and nephews, Steven (Pauline) Bycznski, Amanda Bycznski, Bobby Vibonese, Alexis Bycznski, Brett Zupancic, Michael Vibonese, Adam Zupancic, Jared Bycznski, and great niece Claire Bycznski.

Bobby was a 1987 graduate of Columbia High School.  He played football and wrestled where he excelled in wrestling taking 2nd place in Districts. He was a hard worker starting at age 12 baling hay and then worked for many years at Red Wagon Farm.

Bobby lived to work, loved what he did and did it well.  He was loved and liked by many at Cleveland Cement Construction, Fabrizi Construction Company and Baker Construction. He was a proud member of the Cement Masons Local 404 from 1992-2016.  He also was a proud member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 18 from 2001-until his passing.

Bobby and his dad raised and trained award winning German Shorthaired Pointers along with raising quail and pigeons used in training.  He won multiple first place awards in the South Cuyahoga Sportsman Association competitions and other various competitions throughout the state of Ohio; His dog Moe was a seven-time Champion and is in the National Shoot to Retrieve Hall of Fame.

He enjoyed hunting, gardening, canning, making homemade sauce, motorcycle riding and working in his barn.

His Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, August 5, 2025 from 5:00-8:00-pm at the Red Wagon Farm, 16081 East River Road, Columbia Station, OH.  Bobby never met a stray animal.  He always took them in or found a loving home for them.  In honor for his love of animals, memorial contributions can be made in his name to the Memorial Gifts/ ASPCA.
