Robert Ross Hinkle

Robert Ross Hinkle, Passed away, May 20, 2024.

Son of Edwin Hinkle and Ridie (Shough) Hinkle was born in Woodbury NJ. PA Navy veteran. Bob served on the USS Beale (BT2 from 1963-1967). Bob married Karen McHenry, and they have two children., Robert Scott Hinkle and Carrie Lynn Hinkle (Dobbs). Bob has three grandsons, Collin Dobbs, and Nathan and Nicholas Hinkle.  Bob retired as the head custodian at Lincoln High School, Cleveland City Schools (Ohio).  Bob was active with the American Truck Historical Society and served as its President.  Bob’s voice can be heard across the globe as he pronounces the vocabulary of Global Vocabulary LLC’s six iPhone and iPads apps: he was the company’s Vice-President.  Bob is survived by brother, Russell Hinkle of Villa Rica, Georgia, and his life partner, Dr. Paulette Goll of Columbia Station, Ohio. Private Funeral Mass was held and Robert was interred in Columbia Royalton Road Cemetery, Columbia Station, Ohio.
