Richard C. Wesemeyer

Richard C. Wesemeyer, 71, of Grafton, Ohio passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at his home.

Richard was born in Medina, Ohio on March 22, 1952 to the late Richard and Ruth (nee Bartter) Wesemeyer. He has resided most of his life in Lorain County. He was a heavy equipment operator and worked with McConnell Excavating for the past 10 years. Richard was a farmer all his life.  He enjoyed fixing and tinkering with repairs on tractors and farm equipment. Richard was a devoted father and grandfather.

He is survived by his children, Kelly (David) Wysocki, Scott (Shari) Wesemeyer and Todd Wesemeyer (Christi Nichols), grandchildren, Morgan, Chelsea and Bridget Wysocki, Ricky, Stanley and Eli Wesemeyer; Jasmine and Daisy Wesemeyer. His siblings- Sue (Dave) Pumplin, Linda (James) Pearce, Wendy Wesemeyer and Carl (Cindy) Wesemeyer. Numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Preceded in death by his wife, Diane Wesemeyer in 2022.

Celebration of Life Gathering will be held Monday, October 2, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City.
