Richard D. Ramser

Richard D. Ramser, 68, of Valley City, passed away peacefully, Saturday, December 11, 2021 after enduring Parkinson’s disease for over 13 years of his life.

Richard was born in Cleveland in June 26, 1953 to the late Richard and Dorothy (Dixon) Ramser.  He grew up in Parma, Ohio and lived most of his life in Valley City.  He was known as “Rick” by his family and friends.

Rick was a body shop technician, second generation, working at the family owned Ramser’s Body Shop in Cleveland.

 Rick was a generous and kind man. Classic Cars were his greatest passion.

There will be a gathering for family and friends, from10:00-11:00 AM, Friday, December 17, 2021 at the Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, OH. Graveside service will follow at 11:45 AM Friday, at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, State Road, Cleveland, OH

In lieu of Flowers-Memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
