Richard Andrew Stewart

Richard “Rick” Andrew Stewart, 76, of Brunswick, Ohio passed away Friday, November 14, 2025.

Rick was born July 25, 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Gordon and Helen (Gerenday) Stewart. He has resided in Medina County for many years.    

Rick served in the United States Marine Corp for four years during the Vietnam Era.  After the service, he was employed as an electrician for several unions and retired from Local 611 after many years of service. He was a guy that enjoyed tinkering on projects and could make something out of nothing.  Rick loved riding his Harley Davidson traveling many states. He had a compassion for his furry kitties, especially Butthead and Tucker.

Rick was a gentle, honest, caring and kind man. Once he met you, were a friend for life.

He will be greatly missed by his fiancé Joann, having been together for 41 years. Daughters, Lisa Devereaux, Carrie Lin and Carrie Lemmons; loving grandfather and great grandfather, his siblings, Doug, David, Louise and Michelle,

He was preceded in death by brothers, Jim and Bob.

Following Rick’s request, cremation has taken place.

Rick’s burial will be held Monday, December 8, 2025 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rawiga Road, Seville. Please meet at the front entrance at 11:00 am.
