Raymond M. Beriswill, 52, of Grafton, OH passed away on Friday, September 20, 2019.
Ray was born September 16, 1967 in Lodi, Ohio and has resided in Lorain County all his life. He was a 1986 graduate of Midview High School and was a member of the Future Farmers of America. Ray obtained the highest degree of American Farmer and was inducted in the Ohio State Hall of Fame. Ray had been a member of 4-H and remained supportive as a former member of the Lorain Junior Fair Board. Ray’s life revolved around farming following in his father’s footsteps.
Ray was a member of the Wellington Eagles for the past nine years
Ray was noted for always having a good time hosting many cookouts for his friends. Ray enjoyed spending time out at the home pond and sharing it with his friends and loved ones
He will be greatly missed by his mother, Frances (nee Brophy), Sisters, Rebecca (David) Koenig and Susan (Jeff) Geiger. His nieces and nephew, Ashley (John) Zacharias, Marissa and Jared Koenig, Taylor Puchmeyer, Hannah and Bethany Geiger.
Preceded in death by his father- Robert Beriswill and brother- David Beriswill.
Visitation will be held 4:00-8:00 PM on Monday, September 23, 2019 at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, OH
Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Martin of Tours Chapel, 1800 Station Road Valley City. (Family and friends, please meet at the church.)
Burial- St. Martin Church Cemetery, Valley City.
