Phyllis Wolff Obituary

Phyllis Marigold (Schnee) Wolff, 96, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, November 2, 2025.

Phyllis was born November 23, 1928 in Sandusky, Ohio to the late Floyd and Alice (Ramsdell) Schnee.  She has been a longtime resident of Medina County.

She graduated from M.B. Johnson School of Nursing in 1949 and worked for 35 years as a Registered Nurse at Medina General Hospital. Phyllis was one of the four founders of Wolff Bros. Supply, Medina. She had served twenty-five years as an election poll official.

As an active member of Zion Lutheran Church, Valley City, she belonged to the Ladies’ Circle and was a faithful choir member for many years. Phyllis loved traveling, sewing and was an avid reader.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Cynthia Fuller, Deborah Ross, Kathleen (Glenn) Brancart and Jeffrey (Jacquelyn) Wolff; grandchildren, Adam (Cristin) Fuller, Carrie Fuller, Eric (Lauren) Fuller,  Michael (Tiffany) Fuller, Matthew Hanshue, Melinda Loo, Emily Brancart, Christopher (Nyleen) Wolff, Kyle (Holly) Wolff, Karli (David) Sells and Cara Wolff; and great grandchildren, Elliot, Annora, Mason, Nash, Ethan, Harper, Kinley, Graham, Lucas, Scarlett, Aubrie, Paige, Bennett and Isla;  Sister of Maureen Hunter;  Aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. The family would also like to acknowledge all the special friends Mom has made throughout the years,

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Norman Wolff in 2022, and her brother David (Nancy) Schnee.

The family is grateful for the loving care given to Phyllis by the staffs of Medina General Hospital, Lodi Hospital Rehabilitation Center, Medina Meadows Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Hospice of the Western Reserve.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:45 am followed by the funeral service at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Zion Lutheran Church, 2233 Abbeyville Road, Valley City, Ohio.  Burial will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers or plants, the family suggests memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church Building Fund or Hospice of the Western Reserve.
