Philip Giordano Obituary

Philip Giordano, age 90 of Litchfield, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 7, 2020.

Philip was born on January 3, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Samuel and Signorina (LaRocca) Giordano. He had resided in Cleveland most of his life and moved to Medina County in 1976.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran and had worked as a brick mason for many years. Philip was the last of ten siblings.

Philip was an active member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Medina.

He was a member of the Litchfield Historical Society and was involved in the reconstruction of the current building that houses the Historical Society and the Barn Shop Antiques.

Philip was noted or his handy work in refurbishing furniture and upholstery.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Frances (nee Whitehead) whom he married in 1986. Daughter, Sharon McClelland, grandson, Philip D.P. (Shiloh) McClelland, great grandchildren, Philip B. E. McClelland and Emerald J. McClelland and extended family, David (Sharon) Archer, Larry (Nancy) Archer, Daniel (Lisa) Archer and Kristine (Shawn) Parker, 13 grandchildren.

Private Graveside Service was held at Litchfield Cemetery.

Due to the safety of our friends and family at this time, there will be a Celebration of Life Service held and to be announced at a later date.
