Paul J. Kordich, Sr.

Paul J. Kordich, Sr. 86, of Brunswick, OH passed away peacefully on Friday, June 23, 2023,

Paul was born in Royal, PA on October 31, 1936 to the late Daniel and Anna (Kubitza) Kordich. He moved to Cleveland in 1955 and has resided in Brunswick since 1988.

 He was a retired Detective with the Cleveland Police SIU department serving 35 years. He had played on the Cleveland Police softball league for many years.

Paul enjoyed working in his garden and he had a great love for animals.

He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 67 years, Carol (nee Burns), loving father of, Sharon (Richard) Petrak, Paul Jr. (dec) wife Beth, Beverly Reiter (David dec) (Roger Kimble, fiancé), Jeffrey (Sue) Kordich, Jude (Angelo) Carcioppolo and Kathleen Kordich. Cherished Grandfather of Tony Lombardi (Carly Yusi fiancé), Brian Lombardi, Paul (Stephanie), Kyle, Kristin (Matt) Samec, Candice Kordich, David and Melanie Reiter, Shawn and Carly Kordich.  Great grandfather of 2. Sister-in-law- Rose Kordich and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his siblings, Martha, Daniel, Johnny, Thomas, and twin Stephen.

Following Paul’s request, cremation has taken place.

Private family burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery, Valley City.
