Paul E. Chamberlin, 93, of Brunswick, passed away peacefully on to his heavenly home, Friday, May 20, 2022.
Paul was born in Mishawaka, Indiana on April 24, 1929 and he is the last of his ten siblings to pass in to heaven. Son of the late Charles Leonard and Rosalie (Huemmer) Chamberlin.
He retired as a supervisor with Ford Motor Company, Cleveland after 28 years of service. He was very active at St. Stephen Catholic Church, West Salem, Ohio as an eucharistic minister and singing in the choir, along with volunteering for many activities before joining St. Martin of Tours, Valley City. Paul was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Paul was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He thoroughly enjoyed being involved in his family activities. He did a lot of volunteer work with Meals on Wheels, Red Cross and Operation Homes. Some of Paul’s hobbies were fishing, camping, golfing and playing cards of all kinds.
He will be greatly missed by his wife whom he married September 3, 1949, Barbara (nee Burkholder). Children, James (Teresa) Chamberlin, Marylee (John) Kollar, Kathleen (James) Winter, Sharon (deceased) Gary Stedronsky, Nancy (Vincent deceased) Fegan and Karen (Lawrence deceased) Becker (William Bishoff). 20 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM, Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at St. Martin of Tours Chapel, 1800 Station Road Valley City, OH (Please meet at the church)
Calling hours will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, OH
Interment to follow burial at Litchfield Cemetery, Litchfield, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Stephen’s West Salem or St. Martin of Tours, Valley City.
