Norman J. Geschke, 88, of Middleburg Hts., Ohio passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2026. He joined his beloved wife, Barbara Ann Geschke (nee Young) and his cherished daughter Deborah Ann Bane (nee Geschke) with our Lord forever in heaven.
Norm was born December 26, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late John and Amelia (Adams) Geschke. He has resided in Cuyahoga County all his life.
He was a proud United States Marine veteran serving from 1959-1960.
Norm had worked as an aircraft refueler at both Burke Lakefront and Cleveland Hopkins airports, prior to retiring as a machine operator from General Motors, Parma. He was given the nickname of “Stormin Norman” for his dedication as a loyal UAW member.
He was the last of four siblings who he has now joined in heaven, Richard, Kenneth and Thomas Geschke.
He will be greatly missed by his son, William (Monica) Geschke, Son-in-law William Bane Grandchildren, Dominic (Sarah) Tancredi and Amanda (Phillip) Klima; great grandchildren, Bronson and Jack Klima.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Following Norm’s wishes, cremation has taken place. At a later date, there will be an inurnment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, Ohio.
Family will receive loved ones at Zion Lutheran Church, 2233 Abbeyville Road, Valley City, Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 10 AM to 11 AM followed by a Celebration of Life Service. www.zionvc.org
