Norma Jean (Walling) Moehle

Norma Jean Moehle, 94, of Medina, Ohio passed away peacefully onto her heavenly home Friday, August 12, 2022.

Norma was born February 10, 1928 in Westlake, Ohio to the late Elmer and Mame (Money) Walling.  Norma had resided in Valley City for many years prior to moving to Medina.

Norma served as a Volundear for the Valley City Fire Department while Harry served as Fireman. She was part of the Buckeye Booster Club helping out with dinners, and also a member of Litchfield United Church of Christ Congregational.

She had worked for Good Foods in Medina, A I Root Company, Buckeye Local Schools in the cafeteria and well as playground supervisor and lastly MTD in the cafeteria.

Norma was a devoted loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Norma will be remembered for her delicious baking and especially all the pastries she made for many wedding affairs.

She enjoyed making quilts for many to cherish.

Norma will be greatly missed by her family and all who had the pleasure to call her friend.

Survived by her children, Robert (Joleen) Moehle and Bonnie (Bill) Phillip. Grandchildren, Staci (Thomas) Grant, Emily Moehle (Christopher Eckles) and Wendy (Paul) Wadle; great grandchildren, Evan, Jonah, Boden and Savanna.

She is survived by a brother, Elmer Walling and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband, Harry Moehle, a sister, Lucille Contos and brothers, Bobby, Donald and Robert Walling.

There will be calling hours Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road, Valley City, OH         

Private burial will be held at Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Valley City, OH 

Memorials is desired may be made to the Hospice of Western Reserve.
