Nancy Ann (Ringgenberg) Schmock

Nancy Ann Schmock, 90, of Medina, Ohio passed away peacefully with family at her side on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

Nancy was born June 7, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Earl and Dolores (Foos) Ringgenberg. She had resided in Cuyahoga County prior to moving to Medina. Nancy had retired as a bookkeeper from the Yellow Cab Company. She was a member of St. Francis Xaxier Catholic Church, Medina, Ohio.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Nancy enjoyed life in general. In her younger years, Nancy showed horses, and loved all animals, especially her dog Murphy who passed away recently.  She thoroughly enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, crocheting, and reading. In recent years, Nancy spent hours creating beautiful mosaic artwork with glass seed beads.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of over fifty years, Edward W. Schmock, and her brothers David (Jean), Lynn (Bonnie), Timothy (Ann).

She will be greatly missed by her children, Michael Schmock (Sherry)and Edward Schmock (Dawn); grandchildren, Jason Schmock (Leah), Angel Schmock, E. Joseph Schmock (Jen) and Travis Schmock; great grandchildren, Cassidy, Skyla and Olyvia Cordero and Caylee Schmock. She is also survived by her siblings, Sharon (Alan) Cabe, Holly Bates (Buck deceased), Michael (Cindy) Ringgenberg,

Following Nancy’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Life gathering tentatively scheduled for June 7, 2026 at her son Michael’s residence.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Franics Church, Hospice of Western Reserve or Alzheimer Foundation.
