Myrtle Sue Taylor, 83, Grafton, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday, December 24, 2021.
Sue was born April 27, 1938 in Pollard, Arkansas to the late Warren and Amy Mae (Parker) Moore. She lived in Missouri for several years and has resided in Lorain County since 1947.
She had worked as a typesetter for the Medina Gazette / Chronicle from 1961-1970. Sue was a member of the Cleveland Area Mensa, Charter member of the Belden Historical Society, Clay County Arkansas Genealogical Historical Society and attended the Belden United Methodist Church.
Sue was a very active member of the Litchfield Eastern Star where she served as Past Matron and Secretary; LaGrange #361 Eastern Star and Elyria-South Amherst (Stone City Chapter #325).
Sue enjoyed her furry kitties and had a talent of doing beautiful crocheting.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband Allen of 51 years in 2014.
Family and friends are invited to a Graveside Service for Sue and Allen on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 11:30 AM at Belden Cemetery with Pastor David Walker, officiating. Immediately following the service, there will be a luncheon at the Belden United Methodist Church, 36130 State Route 303, Grafton, OH.
In lieu of flowers- memorials may be made to any animal related organization in Sue’s name.
