Mickey M. Kennedy

Mickey M. Kennedy, 80, of Medina, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday, June 24, 2022.

Mickey was born on May 14, 1942 in Mohawk, W. Va.  To the late Luther and Ruby Kennedy. He resided in Cuyahoga County for many years prior to moving to Medina. He worked for the Ford Motor Company for many years.  Mickey was the founder of Kennedy Builders and was noted for building many homes in the area.

Mickey was a United States veteran who served in the Marines, Air Force and Army.

Mickey used his gifted talents of creating several useful inventions.

He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting.

Mickey will be greatly missed by his wife, Annette (Filippino) married 37 years. Children, Melissa (Norman) Cole, III, Annemarie (Gregory) Hayest, step children, Timothy, Bryan and Michael Doud.  Grandchildren, Norman Cole, IV, Calvin Cole, Grayson and Addison Hayest and many step grand and great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a brother Bobby Kennedy and a sister- Sue Birchfield.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 4:00-8:00 PM, Friday, July 1, 2022 at the Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road, Valley City.

 In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Fraternal Order of Police #15, c/o of Southwest Cuyahoga Recreations Center, P. O. Box 1041, Brunswick, Ohio 44212

A Private Family Burial will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, OH at a later date.
