Michael Timothy Reese

Michael Timothy Reese, 54, of Medina, Ohio passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026.

Michael was born February 7, 1972 in Cleveland, Ohio to Michael Thomas and Toby Ann (Halsey) Reese. He had lived in Valley City for many years prior to moving to Medina for the past 27 years.

 He was a 1990 Buckeye High School graduate and has worked as a Quality control operator at Zion Industries. 

Michael was a Falconer. He enjoyed the challenge of catching and training hawks then releasing them back to the wild. Presently he and his wife are raising quails.

Michael loved walking his dogs Jack and Hannah and he had a gifted talent of woodworking and rock climbing.

He is survived by his wife Julie (Woodworth) Reese married 35 years, his son, Jacob Reese ( Jaina Phovemire), his mother, Toby Reese  and (Charles Bell).

Preceded in death by his father, Michael Thomas Reese.

Following Michael’s request, no visitation or service and cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Life Gathering at a later date.
