Michael L. Carroll

Michael L. Carroll, 71, of Ashland, Ohio passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 9, 2024.

Michael was born January 20, 1953 in Lakewood, Ohio to the late Laurence and Mary Ann (Pitts) Carroll. He had lived in Cuyahoga County for many and presently in Ashland, Ohio. Michael was a plumber with Local #55 for many years. He was a proud U.S. Marine veteran serving from 1971-1975. Mike was a foster parent to many children for several years.

Michael was an avid ham radio operator and enjoyed tinkering with cars especially Oldsmobile. Michael never met a stranger.

He will be greatly missed by his children, Shaun Carroll, Michele (Brad) Buening and Lori (Mike) Mc Grath. Grandchildren, Bradley Buening, Amanda (Damion) Dolney, Brian Buening, Zachary Mc Grath and Kaden Mc Grath.

Brother of Timothy Carroll and Maureen.

Preceded in death by his wife Mary Louise Carroll and siblings Eugene Patrick Carroll and Marjorie.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Monday, July 22, 2024 at the Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, Ohio with the funeral service immediately following visitation at 1:00 pm.

Michael will be laid to rest by his wife in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, Ohio.

In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to the Ashland County Cancer Association.
