Mary Ellen (Nichols) Castle Tackett

Mary Ellen (nee Nichols) Castle Tackett, 87, of Valley City, Ohio went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

She was born on Lodi, Ohio on March 4, 1937 to the late Charles and Bessie (Baisch) Nichols and has been a lifelong resident of Medina County.  Mary Ellen had worked as a bank teller for many years.

She is survived by her sister, Betty (Bill) Good, niece, Jennifer Good (fiancé Dwayne Sullivan) and a granddaughter Krystal (Autumn)

Preceded in death by her husbands,  Jack Castle and Bill Tackett and a son David Castle.

Following Mary Ellen’s request, there has been a private burial alongside her husband Jack at Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Valley City, Ohio.

Bauer Funeral Home, Valley City has the honor of serving Mary Ellen’s family.
