Marlene M. (Haring) Jirousek

Marlene M. Jirousek, 66, of Elyria, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 with her family at her side.

Marlene was born October 13, 1955 in Lodi, Ohio to the late Elmer and Lucille (Stackhouse) Haring. She grew up in York Township and was a 1974 graduate of Buckeye High School.

After her marriage to Leonard Jirousek on October 1, 1977, they lived in Lodi, where they raised their two daughters.

She enjoyed baking and adored her grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by her daughters- Amy (Mickal) Torres and Misty (Joshua) Duncan, grandchildren- Xavior Haar, Brennon Haar, Desirae Clancy, Karrie Haar, Sami Hrdlicka, Jessica Torres and Mickal Torres, Jr.; great grandchildren, Peyton, Lorenzo, Esteban, Annalisse, Trinity, Aaliyah, Hayden and also sisters, Joyce Haury and Naomi Taylor and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Marlene was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Jirousek, March 27, 2003. Grandson, Leo Duncan. Siblings- Russell Haring, William Haring, Katherine Tibbitts, Betty Fratz and Beatrice Haury.

The family will receive family and friends on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road, Valley City, OH.

At Marlene’s request cremation will follow.
