Marilyn Rose Bohl (Muntz)

Our beloved mother, Marilyn Rose Bohl (Muntz), age 91, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2026, surrounded by family.

Born on April 13, 1935, in Valley City, Ohio, to late Charles and Ruth Muntz. Marilyn was a graduate of Liverpool High School's class of 1953 and she took great pride in helping coordinate many class reunions over the years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, where she also married. She raised her family in Medina, where she enjoyed bowling and ceramics, was active at St. Matthew's Church, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Marilyn retired to Sun City, Florida, in 2005, where her zest for life truly shined. She loved traveling, playing the bells at church, enjoying cards and Bingo, and especially cruising around town in her pink BMW golf cart. She loved Pepsi, sunflowers, and the warmth of the sun.

She is survived by her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a brother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Carl Bohl; her special friend and companion of 20 years, Ted Wilson; her son, Chuck Bohl and three brothers and five sisters.

A memorial service will be held at Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road, Valley City on Friday, July 17, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.  A private burial service at Spring Grove Cemetery in Medina will immediately follow.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mercy's Door Pet Rescue.
