Marie Tinl Obituary

Marie L. Tinl, 94, of Columbia Station, OH passed away peacefully on Friday, July 24, 2020.

Marie was born July 3, 1926 in Valley City to the late Leo and Florence (nee Schaefer) Weigel. She was a longtime resident of Columbia Station.

Marie was an active member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Columbia Station. Ever curious, she had an adventurous spirit and love for nature, which led her to distant places. Marie enjoyed reading and sewing; she made many quilts for friends and loved ones. She also loved to work in her garden, freezing and canning the produce for those winter months. Her Christmas cookies were as infamous as her skillful scrabble playing. The love of her life was her family.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Robert (Gail) Tinl, Jeffrey (Margie) Tinl, Mary Ann (Mandy) (Paul) Antczak, Daniel (Debra) Tinl, Teresa (deceased) (Eddie) Bennett and Joel (Kelly) Tinl.

Grandmother of 21, Megan (Matt) Yandek, Lindsey (Jason) Young, Kristy (Tom) Holbert, Kimberly (Matt) Madjar, Nicholas Tinl, Lynnea Tinl, Amy (Jason) Murray, Brad (Jenelle) Antczak, Joshua Tinl, Justin (Jaime) Winfield, Andrea Bennett, Noah Bennett and Sophia Tinl.  Great Grandmother of 11, Ethan, Lilly, Avery, Gabrielle, Amelia, Caitlin, Josie, Jenna, Nolan, Brynley and Alaina.

Sister of Robert (deceased) (Joan) Weigel, Margaret (deceased) (Charles) Swingle, Jean (Ray) Kemp. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband Robert Tinl.
