Margaret Ellen (Akers) Blake

Margaret Ellen Blake, 75 of Medina, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday, September 8, 2023.

Margaret was born March 24, 1948 in Richwood, West Virginia to the late Earl and Mary (Flanagan) Akers. She has resided in Ohio for over 50 years.  She had worked for Industrial Plastics, Valley City for many years.

Margaret enjoyed being with her family and passing her time coloring beautiful pictures.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Paul Blake, Melissa (Richard) Bilinski and Felisha Barton. Grandchildren, Megan, Cliff, Joe, Jessie, Dakota and Cole. Great grandchildren, Josh, Andrew, Dominick, Tye, Bella, Nevaeh, Michael, Isaiah, Logan, Aryiah and Kierra.

Sisters and brothers, Charlotte Boggs, David Akers, Donna Scott, Carl Akers and Bill Akers and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband, John Blake in 1998, a grandson, Cody Barton, 2018 and two brothers, Junior and Dale Akers.

Visitation to be held Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 1:00 -2:00 pm at the Adam-Reed Funeral Home, 7000 Webster Road, Cowen, West Virginia 26206 with the funeral service following visitation.

Burial- John’s Cemetery, Cowen, West Virginia.

Local arrangements were entrusted to the Bauer Funeral Home, Valley City, Ohio.
