Marcelene Aldridge, 86, passed onto her heavenly home Friday, May 10, 2024.
Marcelene was born July 18,1937 in Kiahsville, West Virginia to the late Wiley and Virgie (Slade) Queen. She has resided in Olmsted Township, Ohio for many years.
Marcelene has been an office worker for many years with the Xerxes Company.
She was a member of the Christian Unity Church in Grafton for over 30 years.
Marcelene enjoyed bowling and was a “Champion Bowler”.
She also loved working in her flower and vegetable gardens.
There was nothing she loved more than spending time with her grandchildren.
Survived by her daughters, Priscilla Zietlow (Mike Binder) and Sheri (Chris) Miller; grandchildren, Michael Miller, Nicholas Miller and Olivia Zietlow. Sister Sally Wilks, sisters-in-law Betty Queen and Phyllis Queen all of Wayne, WV and Lois Queen of Ashville, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews. Very special friend, Sue Ahonen of Florence, AL who was like a sister to her and Kim VanderLinde, who never missed a week to help care for Bessie. Special friends that became family Debbie Dooling, Ryan Tucholski and Rachel Binder.
Preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Walter Victor Aldridge, siblings, Maggie Gibson, Ernestine “Sis” Vaughn, Lige Queen, Weldon “Bud” Queen, Albert “Duke” Queen, and Infants George and Pearly Queen.
Visitation will be held Weds., May 15, 2024 from 10:00 AM until Noon when the Funeral Service will be held at the Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, Ohio. Pastor Neal Brock, officiating.
Burial- Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Valley City, OH.
