Kim Katherine (Kosa) Wooddell passed into the loving arms of Jesus at home after a very hard-fought battle with cancer, Friday, November 28, 2025.
Born, January 7, 1963 to Alexander (deceased) and Ruth Kosa (age 99) in Cleveland, Ohio at the Cleveland Clinic during a snowstorm—Kim was the fifth of six siblings.
She grew up in Valley City, Ohio living a life filled with simple Christian Family values learning honesty, integrity, and faith with a little hard work and perseverance thrown in for good measure.
Kim was a graduate of Buckeye High School. She was active in 4-H, band and track and field, winning county fair pie contests and going to State 4-H for clothing design.
She had a smile that lit many rooms and a quiet beauty that was both external and internal. Kim was a loving wife, devoted mother of three boys and devoted child of God.
Kim loved to cook spend time with family, friends and outdoor life whether gardening or hunting with her boys.
Kim leaves behind, her husband, Richard,
her three boys, James, Joshua and Jared;
Her mother Ruth E. (Pierce) Kosa, her brother, Wayne Kosa; her four sisters, Sandra, Penny, Barb and Joy. 16 nieces and nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am- 1:00 pm, Thursday, December 4, 2025 at the Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, OH, where the funeral service will be at 1:00 pm. Followed with the burial at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted, Ohio.
