Julia Ann Adams, known fondly as Judy, of Valley City entered into heaven’s embrace on February 2, 2024 at the age of 89. Born on a winter’s day, January 10, 1935, to Beatrice and Ted Johnson. She brought warmth and light to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Judy was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 51 years, James Adams.
Judy is survived by Denise Piovarchy, her beloved daughter, and Chris Piovarchy, her loving son-in-law, who shared their laughter and companionship through life’s journey. She embraced the joy of being a Nannie to Christopher Piovarchy (Meredith), Adam Piovarchy (Tara) and Tyler Piovarchy (Bethany). Great grandchildren filled her life with laughter and love, Ava, Olivia, Landon, Hayden, Henry, Theodore and Walter, Lillyann and Charlotte.
Judy is also survived by her brother Kenneth Johnson (Ann deceased) whose lifelong friendship will forever be remembered, niece Kim (Ken) Kuhajda, nephew Kyle Johnson (Beth deceased), niece Kyra (Les) Kulin, as well as many great nieces and nephews and her special friend Samantha Shock who cared for her so lovingly.
The family will be honoring her life with a visitation from 5:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road, Valley City. Funeral Service will be held 10:00 am, Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Emmanuel United Church of Christ 6656 Center Road, Valley City, Ohio.
Burial to follow at Eastlawn Memory Garden, Brunswick, Ohio
