Judith Fern Tabor

Judith Fern Tabor (nee Hirz) 83.   Born May 26, 1941; passed away peacefully on Monday, January 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving children, granddaughter, and special family friend John.

Judi was a very artistic soul; her talents were immeasurable.  Her love of gardening was evident by the awe-inspiring joy that it brought to anyone lucky enough to experience it.  Judi enjoyed her trips with her friends to the Casino and playing BINGO with her Moose family.  She was a member of the Medina Moose Lodge, as well as a lifetime member of the Valley City VFW.

The most important thing was spending time with her family, laughing uncontrollably, reminiscing, listening to oldies, and enjoying meals with her family.  She loved and missed her dog, Casey.  Judi retired from Southwest General Hospital after 20+ years.

Judi is survived by her children Claude II (Cathy), Scott (Anita), Dena (Mark Hubbard) and Eric (Kristy).  Grandchildren Claude III, Daniela, Jennifer, Travis, Tiffany, Jaiden, Kenna, great-grandchildren, Mimi, Neveah, Gregory, Benjamin, Howl, Wilde, Silver, Tommy, Rilee and Freya, and her brother Craig Grenat.

Judi was proceeded in death by her loving husband of 41 years Claude Sr., her beloved son Philip, both of her parents and her sister Pam Clark. 

Her spirit with forever live on in the memories we cherish and the love we shared.  Her love and kindness was felt by everyone that knew her. Her light will forever shine brightly in all the hearts she touched.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, January 16, 2025 at the Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, Ohio, where the Funeral Service will be 10:00 am, Friday, January 17, 2025.
Burial will follow at Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Valley City, Ohio.
