Joseph B. Taylor, Jr., a proud 102-year-old World War II, United States Army veteran, passed into his Lord’s arms on March 27, 2026.
Joseph was born in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania on July 21, 1923 to the late Joseph Sr. and Eva Taylor. He served in the Pacific Theater during World War II, achieving a rank of Sergeant.
He was a retired auto worker with General Motors. Joseph was known for his quick wit and his kind thoughtful nature. He spent the last six years in Brunswick, Ohio where his community embraced and celebrated him.
Joseph was preceded in death by his beloved wife Esther, his sisters, Eva and Virginia and many of his WWII veterans and friends.
Joseph will be laid to rest with his wife at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, Ohio with full honors.
