Joseph H. Ring, Jr. 78, of Valley City, Ohio passed away after a long battle with PAD, Peripheral Artery Disease, on May 7, 2021.
Joseph was born November 13, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Joseph, Sr. and Catherine (Linton) Ring. He had moved from St. Louis and has lived in Valley City for many years.
He worked as an engineer with Enkotec, a Danish company and Wire Association International. Joseph retired as a “Craftsman’s Toolman” with Sears at South Park Mall, Strongsville.
Joseph’s leisure activities included breeding and raising freshwater fish, woodworking crafts and he was an avid reader.
Joseph will be greatly missed by his wife of 30 years, Gayle (Burns), children, Mary Catherine (Katie) Ring, of VT, children, Reilly, Liam & Quinn Duggan; Joseph W. & Heather Ring, of CO, children Cira & Mia; Casey & Georgia Ring, of Brunswick, OH and daughter Leyla; and Molly Ring & Adam Graves, of TX and son Noah.
Joseph is also survived by his sister Gerry Olsen, of Washington State.
Preceded in death by his sister Barbara Savage.
A Celebration of Joe’s Life will be held Saturday, the 21st of August 2021 from 12:00-4:00 PM at the Mill Stream Park Pavillion on Maple Street in Valley City, Ohio.
