John Michael Buckner

John M. Buckner, 75, of Valley City, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday, August 5, 2022.

John was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 3, 1947 to the late John G. and Martha (Hughes) Buckner. He had resided in Cuyahoga County for many years prior to moving to Valley City in 1989. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran and had worked at General Motors, Parma for 35 years.

John was very active in Martial Arts with Karate, Kenpo, Jiu Jitsu and a Kali Guru Master.

He spent much of his time cooking, gardening and beekeeping.

He will be greatly missed by his children, Scott, Tara (Jimmy), Dawn, John Jr. (Kassidy), Daryl (Holly) and Amber; 10 grandchildren- Scott, Thomas, Christopher, Nathan, John David, Robbie, Kane, Mason, Emilia and Shane.  He is also survived by a brother, Larry and a sister Darlene.

John was preceded in death by his love of his life, Diane in 2020.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation for John on Weds. August 10, 2022 from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Bauer Funeral Home
