Joanne A. (Menegay) Bihn

Joanne A. Bihn, 86, of Litchfield, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 9, 2022.

Joanne was born August 12, 1935 in Rittman, Ohio to the late Harry and Helen (Eaglowski) Menegay.  She grew up in Sterling and moved to Litchfield in 1964.  Joanne was an active member of St. Francis Xavier Church, Medina and had worked as a library aid for Buckeye School System.

She enjoyed working in her garden, canning, cooking and her daily walks with her brother Tom.  Joanne kept her mind active working crossword puzzles and doing dot-dot.

Joanne will be greatly missed by her children, Cindy (Scott) Romanoff, Jeffrey (Kris) Bihn, Frances Parks and Betsy (Brian) Eckert. Grandchildren, Nick (Becca), Joshua (Diana), Joseph (Kirsten), Matthew (Tabitha) Romanoff; Kallen Eckert, Annsley (Ryan) Small, Ellie and Alexis Eckert.  Great grandchildren, Rosie, Jackie, Mila, Reese, Benjamin and Odin Romanoff.

Brothers- Harry and Thomas Menegay; sisters, Shirley Moore and Lois Moritz, many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Bihn in 2010, and son-in-law, Clifford Parks.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the Bauer Funeral Home, Valley City, Ohio

Friends and Family are invited to meet at the church for Joanne’s Funeral Mass: 11:00 AM Friday, January 14, 2022 at St. Francis Catholic Church 606 East Washington Street

Interment: St. Francis Cemetery, Medina, Ohio

In lieu of flowers- Memorials suggested to the St. Jude Research or St. Francis Church.

Due to COVID increase, masks are required in the funeral home and church.
