Jerry Blaine Seacrist

Jerry B. Seacrist, 78, of Medina, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 4, 2025.

Jerry was born on August 10, 1947 in Blooming Rose, West Virginia to the late Donald and Beulah (Cantley) Seacrist.

He worked at LTV Steel and retired in 2002 after 34 years. He was an avid fan of Ohio State and the Cleveland Guardians.  Jerry was very “picky” about mowing his lawn and maintaining his yard.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter Tracy (Nancy) Jones, daughter-in-law Shani Seacrist- Deeks, grandson, William II (Cassie) Seacrist, and great granddaughters, Stella Rose and Miley Tristan; his sister Wilma (late Hubert) Dotson; sister-in-law Phyliss Seacrist-Keffer; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved his dearly.

He was preceded in death by his wife Marie (Boehnlein), married 39 years; brother Jackie Seacrist; son William “Will” Seacrist and grandson, Tristan W. Seacrist.

Visitation will be held  Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 12:00-noon until 2:00 pm the hour of the Funeral Service at the Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road, Valley City, Ohio.

Interment- Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick, Ohio

In Lieu of flowers- memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes.
