Jeffry L. Gunter

Jeffry L. Gunter, 65, of Valley City, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 30, 2025,

Jeff was born February 18, 1960 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Ralph and Sue (Barnett) Gunter. He grew up in Columbia Station, Ohio and was a graduate of Columbia High School. Jeff was a lifetime member of the Columbia VFW and the Columbia Eagles. He also was a member of the Pipe Fitter Union.

Jeff was a certified welder and had worked as a sheet metal worker with Culls.

He helped his dad on their farm in Columbia Station and enjoyed woodworking.

He will be greatly missed by his siblings, Clayton (deceased) wife Patricia G. Gunter, Jerry (Patricia A.) Gunter and Karen (Dennis) Galdun, nieces and nephews, Bryan Gunter, Katie Gunter, Amanda Gunter, Kevin Gunter, Kiley Sherman, Jessica Bennett, Shannon Keeler and Dennis Galdun, great nieces and nephews.

A private family inurnment will be at Columbia Cemetery, (State Route 82) at a later date.

The Bauer Funeral Home, Valley City, Ohio has the honor of serving the Gunter family.
