Jeffrey W. Tinl

Jeffrey W. Tinl, 74, of Columbia Station, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 24, 2026.

He was born January 24, 1952, in Berea, Ohio to the late Robert and Marie (Weigel) Tinl.  Jeff was a graduate of Columbia High School and  the Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree.

Jeff worked as a road and rail superintendent for many years and recently had his own asphalt sealing business. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.

He is survived by his lifelong companion, Margie, his son Nicholas Tinl and his daughter Lynnea Tinl; his siblings Robert (Gail) Tinl, Mary Ann (Mandy) (Paul) Antczak, Daniel (Debra) Tinl, Teresa (deceased) (Eddie Bennett) and Joel (Kelly) Tinl. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 6:00- 8:00 pm, Friday, May 29, 2026 at the Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, OH                                           

Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2026 at St. Martin of Tours Chapel, 1800 Station Road Valley City, OH, with burial following in the church cemetery. (Family and friends, please meet at the church for the Mass.)
