Jean Marie O’Neal-Weiss, 89, formerly of Brunswick, Ohio passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023.

Jean was born May 31, 1933 in Cumberland, Maryland to Maurice and Winifred (Crippen) Barnhart. She lived in Brookpark, Ohio prior to moving to Medina County.

Jean enjoyed working in the garden, spending time with her family and friends and was a devoted to all animals whether domesticated or wild.

She is survived by her children Kathaleen Taylor (Theodore Harris), Michael O’Neal, Daniel (Laurie) O’Neal, Timothy (Laura) O’Neal and Stephen (Michelle) O’Neal. Grandchildren Gavin, Chris, Kenneth, Carley, Ryan and Gabrielle. Great grandchildren, Gavin, Remy, Piper and Scarlett. She is also survived by her sister, Carol Rankin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles Weiss and a brother, Mark Barnhart.

Following Jean’s request, cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held, August 5, 2023 with details to be announced.
