James S. Mosgrove, 70, of Litchfield, Ohio passed away peacefully into his heavenly home,
December 30, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.
Jim was born in Fairview Park, Ohio on January 19, 1954 to James and Victoria (Collier)
Mosgrove. Jim was a devoted Christian man, faithful to reading his bible, donating to charities,
and following Pastor David Jeremiah’s words. His quick-witted personality has been extensively
noted, as he always enjoyed getting a rise out of his family and friends. Jim treasured and loved
the time spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Jim was a lifelong ASE Certified Mechanic. He took great pride in restoring cars and helping his
family with maintenance and repairs. In his quiet time, Jim enjoyed watching classic western
movies, 60s sitcom shows, and the history channel.
He will be greatly missed by his wife of 50 years, Pam; mother, Victoria Mosgrove; sister, Debbi
(Kokkie) Ang; children, Tracy (Kevin) Sklarz and James K. (Jennifer) Mosgrove; grandchildren,
McKenna Foster, Victoria Foster, Austin Mosgrove, and Alyssa Mosgrove; and many more
nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his father, James Mosgrove (2007) and brother, Terry Mosgrove (1992).
Following Jim's wishes, a cremation has taken place.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at the York United Methodist Church (6566 Norwalk Rd,
Medina, OH, 44256) on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 from 4:00pm-7:00pm. All who knew and
loved Jim are welcome to attend.
