James H. Haynes, age 73, of Medina, Ohio passed away peacefully on Weds. February 24, 2021.
Jim was born on May 3, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late James and June (nee Wagner) Haynes. He has been a Medina County resident for most of his life. He served his country in the U.S. Army for two years.
Jim had worked as a carpenter with Architectural Products Sales Co. in Cleveland for many years. He was gifted in making projects out of wood and metal. Jim’s greatest love was enjoying the outdoors and riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by his wife Sharon (nee Sherman), married 24 years.
Children, Thomas Haynes, Jennifer Graydon and Jill Evans. Grandchildren, Adam, Vaughan, Ruby and Zach. Brothers and sister, Robert (Lois) Haynes, Mark (Teri) Norris and Shawna Ramey. Several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 3:00-4:00 PM, Monday, March 1, 2021 at the Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road Valley City. Facial masks and social distancing required.
Family and friends are invited to the Burial on Weds. March 3, 2021 at 1:15 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville.
(Please meet at the entrance at 1:00 PM.) Masks are required.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested if desired may be made to charity of donor’s choice.
