Howard Snyder, 88, formerly of Litchfield, Ohio passed away peacefully on January 24, 2020.
He was born October 20, 1931 in Amigo, W VA, to the late William and Sylvia (Garrett) Snyder.
Howard was a proud veteran serving in the army during the Korean War. He worked at the Ford Motor Company 31 years before retiring in 1987 and then started his hobby of collecting, buying and selling his treasures at auctions. Howard was also an avid Cleveland Indians fan.
He will be dearly missed by his children; Cynthia (Les) Shearhart, Diana Masters, Sandy (Rob) Mendenhall, and Linda (Orlando) Tackett; granddaughters; Rachel (Lewis) Gamiere, Misty Combs, Brandy (Matt) Lange, Brianna and Jaelyn Mason; and eight great grandchildren. Sisters, Ruby Gillespie and Joann Hamm.
In addition to his parents, Howard was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mabel (Blair); sister, Glenola Clemens and brothers, Robert and John.
The family would like to thank the staff at Plum Creek Assisted Living and Kindred Hospice for the excellent care Howard received.
A private Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
