Helen Holmes Obituary

Helen S. Holmes, 102, of Medina passed away peacefully, Sunday, March 15, 2020.

Helen was born November 9, 1917 in Cleveland, Ohio. She resided in Cuyahoga County until 1986 when she moved to Medina County. She had worked as a secretary in Real Estate for 25 years. Helen volunteered at several hospitals in Cuyahoga County for many years

Helen enjoyed music and playing the organ and piano.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Cross (late Dan) Medina; son, Michael (Nancy) Holmes, Rocky River, OH. Grandchildren, Criss Vasel, Keith and Craig Holmes, Carissa Gresko, and many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Selma (Elges) Fulz, her husband John M. Holmes, 1983 and a sister, Selma.

At Helen’s request, there will be no calling hours and a private burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Medina County SPCA, P. O. Box 135, Medina, Ohio 44256.
