Hedwig “Lottie” Henderson, age 95, of Medina, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 14, 2025, after a long and eventful life.
Lottie was born on July 3 1930, in Germany, While Edgar Henderson was serving in the U.S. Army overseas, their paths crossed, and the two were married in 1967. Together, they built a home in York Township, where they shared many happy years until Edgar’s passing.
Lottie dedicated her life to her family and home. She had deep love for animals—especially her beloved dogs and cats, who became her constant companions in later years.
She is survived by her two sons, Robert and Patrick, and their families.
Throughout her life, Lottie cherished meaningful friendships. She shared a lifelong bond with Renate, a fellow German native, and in her later years, she found comfort and support from dear friends, Mary Ann, Susan, Kevin and Kathleen.
Her family bids her farewell with both sadness and gratitude for the love and memories she leaves behind.
Friends and family are welcome to attend the committal service for Edgar and Lottie Henderson at 2:45 pm, Friday, October 17, 2025 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rawiga Road Seville, Ohio. Full military honors for Edgar will be provided. Please meet at the entrance at 2:30 pm
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made in Lottie’s name to Kitten Krazy, 930 Lafayette Road, Unit A, Medina, Ohio 44256 and organization dear to her heart.
