Heather C. (Witt) Zimmerman

Heather C. Zimmerman, age 41, of LaGrange, Ohio passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 18, 2020.

Heather was born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 4, 1979 to Elmer and Pamela (nee Long) Witt. She had resided in Valley City for most of her life moving to LaGrange in 2005. Heather was a graduate of Buckeye High School. She was active member of 4-H for 11 years and a Girl Scout Leader. Heather was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Valley City.

She had been employed as a custodian with the US Postal Service. Heather was a volunteer at the Medina Raptor Center.  She rescued many birds especially pigeons.  Heather enjoyed showing pigeons at the Medina County Fair.

Heather took great pride in raising her family.

She will be greatly missed by her husband of 15 years, Dean, daughters- Skyler age 13 and Layla age 11; Her mother, Pamela Witt, Sister, Shannon (Frank) Agurkis, brother, Brian Witt, nephews, Gaige and Jax; Her in-laws, Denise and Kenneth Zimmerman.

Preceded in death by her father, Elmer Witt.

A private Family Graveside Service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Valley City, Ohio.

In Lieu of Flowers- the family suggests memorials may be made to the Lorain County Metro Park Raptor Center.
