Harold Alfred Spieth

Harold A. Spieth, 81, 0f Medina, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.

Harold was born in Elyria, Ohio on July 12, 1940 to the late Alfred and Julia (Keller) Spieth, and he grew up and worked on his family farm in York Township. Harold was a lifelong resident of Medina County.

 Harold retired after 25 years of service with the Medina County Highway Department, then he worked as a truck driver for Steingass Mechanical, Medina.

Harold enjoyed meeting and visiting with friends at the Hungry Bear on the Circle.

Harold will be greatly missed by his children, Carl Smith, Lisa (William II) Steingass, Tina Smith and Rebecca (John) Comprix.   His grandchildren Megan, Christopher, Linda, Elizabeth, William III and Shelby and great grandchildren Luciana, Ava, Aubriella and Ronald III. He is also survived by a sister, Elaine Lacko, of LaGrange.

Following Harold’s wishes cremation has taken place.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service 6:00 PM, Friday, January 7, 2022 at the Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, Ohio, with Pastor Jim Watson, officiating.
