Harlon L. Potter, of Litchfield passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020.
Harlon was Born January 5, 1947 on Elkhorn City, KY to the late Bart and Ample Potter. He has resided for 65 years in Litchfield. He had worked for 23+ years as a millwright at General Motors plant in Parma.
He was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 1965-1968.
Harlon was the true outdoorsman, enjoying gardening, hunting and fishing.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Joyce, married 54 years. Children,
Eric (deceased) (Rachelle) Potter, Shane (Colleen) Potter and Jason (Tammy) Potter. Grandchildren- Jennifer, Tyler, Matthew, Kyle, Shane, Megan, Nathan, Jessica, Hayley, Olivia, Ava, Lucas, Hunter and Rieley.
Great grandchildren- Mila and Annie.
His sisters, Shirley (Paul) Blake and Wanda Riffel (husband Doy deceased).
Celebration of Life Gathering will be Saturday, February 15, 2020 with a Private Family Gathering from 11:00 AM to Noon and also from 1:00-3:00 PM at Litchfield Assembly of God, 9082 Norwalk Road, Litchfield, Ohio 44253 with a service to 3:00 PM. A luncheon will immediately follow the service.
In Lieu of Flowers- The family suggests memorials may be made to the Veteran Wounded Warriors or any other Veteran Organizations.
